DER STEIN HOIST: A Stein Beauty Contest
Bring your prettiest, most ornate beer stein! Even if your stein isn’t pretty, bring it and tell us the great story behind it! We had a Stein Hoist once before and had some wild entries!
Here’s Billy rocking his entry! – it’s not even his best Stein, promising to be a real contender at this years Octoberfest!
Who won? Bernie with a his authentic German stein (and who purchased the most extra votes)
The winner wins a plaque and bragging rights, but the voting can be done 2 ways. The main way is to lobby non-competing attendees of the dinner to vote for your stein. The other way is just to win the ol’ political way and that’s to just buy votes. The event is just for fun, and all the entry fees and votes go to keep the lights on at the lodge and help us put on the charity events that we’re proud to bring to the community.
